This eLearning course aims to:

  • Make the diagnosis of heart failure 
  • Treat heart failure with medical and device therapy 
  • Manage complex heart failure cases 
  • Set up a multi-disciplinary heart failure team 
  • Successfully pass the HFA Certification Exam 


Prerequisites:

  •  Medical training: Completed medical degree and enrolled in or completed a cardiology fellowship program.
  • Clinical experience: Hands-on exposure to heart failure patients, including diagnosis and management in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Core knowledge: Familiarity with heart failure guidelines, pharmacologic treatments, and device therapy (e.g., ICD, CRT).
  • Language proficiency: Ability to understand and communicate English.
  • Professional development: Participation in heart failure-focused courses, conferences, or research, and (optionally) membership in professional societies like the ESC or ACC.

The HFA Certification Exam Preparatory Course can be purchased by both members and non-members.
